About Easter Seals Project ACTION's Online Courses
All courses are free of charge. Formats typically include readings, activities, and online and teleconference interaction. The courses are flexible enough to allow participants to log in and work at any hour of the day or night. Students will be expected to participate in a minimum number of hours of study and activities over the span of the course.
How courses are structured
A course typically includes a fixed number of learning modules that consist of readings, online discussion forums, and in-depth homework activities, and may include videos, audio recordings, quizzes, and live teleconferences. All courses require an Internet connection and if a teleconference is scheduled, a phone connection.
For each course, expectations of class members are clearly stated, such as completion of assignments, participation in forums, and attendance at scheduled teleconferences.
Registants are notified of connection and participation instructions regarding course materials and participation after the registration deadline.
Credits available for select ESPA courses, for the ADA Coordinator Training Certification Program. Visit the ACTCP website to find out more.
