United We Ride National Dialogue
In November 2009, more than 3,500 stakeholders from all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia joined the United We Ride National Dialogue, hosted on behalf of the Federal Interagency Coordinating Council on Access and Mobility (CCAM) by Easter Seals Project ACTION and the National Academy of Public Administration. Following the event, an Independent Panel of Fellows of the National Academy of Public Administration conducted a review and analysis of the content and identified emerging themes and key recommendations for the CCAM, which will be using the outcomes to develop their new strategic plan and future policy direction. Many ideas and recommendations may be useful for state and local decision-makers as well.
